I found a solution to the navbar modules shifting in another thread and was able to fix it.

However, the main menu on smaller browsers (ipad, etc) is not collapsing properly. In other words, the menu is always open and the menu items are still showing below the collapse icon and clicking the icon doesn't do anything except change from black to gray. See attached image. Is something not configured properly for it to work?

Thanks for your help.
It okay Keith

Yes, it seems like you are right, I've help you switch to this module position 'position-menu' for your menu, it should look fine now.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know you provided that screenshot is it getting from your desktop browser mobile agent mode?

If no, can you login as superadmin user account from your site using Ipad, then run this URL http://yoursiteURL.com/community?debug=agent , then pass us that user agent message.

Hi Arlex,

The screenshot was taken from desktop but the behavior is the same on iPad. I will run the URL you suggested from superadmin user account from iPad and get back to you with the user agent message later today. Thanks.

Thanks for applying the fix, Arlex. It appears that the site is now rendering the esmobile template for iPad instead of Echo which didn't really fix the menu collapsing issue because there is a different menu structure for the esmobile template. On desktop browser the menu still does not collapse as it should when the browser window is smaller so there is still an issue/bug with the css not working properly (as seen in the first screenshot in the opening post above).

Please advise and thanks for your help.

Okay, I think i understand your issue now.

As long as when the system detect you view on handheld device, it will show mobile template which you have installed on your site.

And I realised you still using the older version of mobile template which not populate the menu on the left corner collapsing, can I have permission to help you update to latest version of Web mobile template?

By the way, may i know do you have do some customisation from your web mobile template? If yes, you have to temporary backup those customisation file first before I proceed.

Hi Arlex, after the echo update the menu now looks like this on web browser (see screenshot). It doesn't move to the lower section as in the demo for echo. Also, the search bar is misplaced. Please disregard the way the logo looks as I still need to apply my customisation for it.

Hey Keith,

I wouldn't encourage to resize the browser screen is because it will not auto resize it to responsive.

If you would like to test this, I would suggest you temporary disable this plugin "system - mobile easysocial" then test on your handle device.

If you would like to do some inspect element on the desktop, I would suggest you to use browser development tool > select show mobile view.

Hi Arlex, I understand what you are saying and agree. However, there seems to be something different with where the menu items are located on my site when compared to the latest echo demo (see screenshots). On the echo demo site the menu items are below the main top bar, however on my site (which was just updated) the menu is still in the top black section.

Is this a module position issue? If so, how can I change it?

Thanks for your help.

I disabled the mobile easysocial plugin and the problem is there on mobile device also. The menu is not displaying properly. On the main demo site http://echo.stackideas.com you can resize the browser and the menu collapses and opens and closes just fine without any issues. It does not do that on my website. I do not understand why this is happening. I don't have any other components or plugins installed on this site as of yet. Just easysocial. So there is something that not working properly. If you look at the screenshots in my post just above you will notice that the menu items on my site are in the very top black part of the toolbar but on the main demo site for echo at http://echo.stackideas.com they are below.

Please advise.

Also, I apologize for the conflicting multiple tickets. I thought they were all separate issues and most were interrelated so my apologies for the earlier cross-posting. In the future I will try and get all issues on one thread so there isn't so much back and forth.

Again thanks for your help in this matter.
