I am replacing a site with a new site both contain EB5 and I think there must be a better way to setup users and categories than how I have in the past.

On the old Site I have users that only need access to their categories they should not be able to see any other categories besides their own and they can not make any other changes in joomla, they can not edit other users posts either... So I created user groups ( same as Registered) for each user (ie UserA > UsergroupA) and then I created the EB5 Categories for this user CategoryA1 CategoryA2 & CategoryA3 and when I created them I would add the usergroup to the Permissions > Privacy > Assigned Joomla User Group > Select category during blog creation / edit

Is there a better way to accomplish this or am I doing this right?
Hi Ryan Sullivan,

I am sorry for the late reply for this. Yes, you are doing it right Ryan! But there are some other option MIGHT be satisfy your need, maybe you can try using the teamblog ( please refer this documentation : How to Setting-Up Team Blogs ). Apart from that, there is no other way to achieve in what you wanted.

Have a nice day ahead Ryan
