Great job on EB5, just saying it again!!!

A couple of things:

1) I'm missing the new 'Cobalt' Theme.... I see the 'Wireframe' and 'Nickel' ones but no 'Cobalt'
2) Old blogs from 3.9 does not want to show on front-end, nor can I edit them in back-end. The just show a broken display in back-end and in front-end it says 'no blogs yet'

any info on this...?
The cobalt theme is only available for Unlimited plans As for the issues with editing posts from 3.9, please provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site.

Why is Cobalt not available to Pro plans. We have Pro plans on all packages (ES, EB, ED, and Komento) and we just renewed most of them again. It would've been great to have Cobalt as it seems to suit our look and feel best.

Can't at present give you the access to the dev environment as it is on a local machine, sorry. Anything that I could maybe check?

Cobalt is a new theme that is only available to Unlimited plan. As for the errors when you edit legacy posts, try turning on error reporting to maximum and see what errors are being spilled on the screen.

Great! mmm... Is there a way in which we could get Cobalt as we really do not require the unlimited plan for any other reason at this stage. Maybe we could pay a small fee to get the use of Cobalt?

Okay, back to 3.9 to EB5 post display issues:

I found the following:

1) Error - Fatal error: Call to a member function getTitle() on boolean in
....\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\composer\form\author.php on line 81

2) When viewing Posts via Admin Backend - No CSS see attached image:

Thanks,

Andrew

Okay... I have made some headway...

Seems to be working for the most parts now.

Fixes:

1) Ran Maintenance on All Scripts and Database
2) Upgraded Komento to Komento 2
3) Disabled Facebook Comments and re-enabled again
4) Unpublished & re-published all Posts and Categories

Now seems to have just one issue still:

see attached screenshots

Thanks

Looks like there are some real old data you have there. Can you upload this site to a temporary location so that we can debug this.

Mark, we have it working for 99% or so... See our site.

A couple of issues though:

1) Post Cover Image - see attached. It seems that there is some space holder when no image set. Can we get rid of that?

2) When setting 'full blog visible to members only' - No JFBC social login is shown in login screen.... How do we get this resolved?

Thanks,

Andrew

2) video clip display size, etc - see attached.

1) Post Cover Image - see attached. It seems that there is some space holder when no image set. Can we get rid of that?

Go to Settings > Layout > Post Cover . Make sure in the entry section the "Full width" checkbox is checked, otherwise it would be 0.

2) When setting 'full blog visible to members only' - No JFBC social login is shown in login screen.... How do we get this resolved?

Known issue. Wait for the next update

1) Hits, Date, etc... unpublishing on post view - see: attached image

I don't see any attached image.

2) video clip display size, etc - see attached.

I don't see any attached image.

strange... definitely attached them before...

With regards to:

1) Very strange had it set a few times to 'Full Width' as per checkboxes. But somehow it reverts back by it self... I will keep an eye out.

2) Can we add an interim fix as we were wanting to launch our new look blog (EB5) with members only access this week. This is due to new bloggers starting this week as well. Would really appreciate it...

Thanks Mark...

Will you get back to me on the other points, as included in the last screenshots I sent you?

Then, I also noticed with the Nickel Theme that the YouTube clips which are embedded in the Posts that they do not resize down enough to fit on mobile screen. Seems not to resize responsive and end up to big to fit in width of screen.

Mark...

Sorry, but I'm still waiting on a response on the screenshots which I resent you:

Your previous response (yesterday):

1) Hits, Date, etc... unpublishing on post view - see: attached image

I don't see any attached image.

2) video clip display size, etc - see attached.

I don't see any attached image.

By the way all points are still relating to one issue re upgrade from 3.9 to 5.

Thanks

Screen shot #1

To disable these items and the placeholder, go to Settings > Layout > Post Options . As for Google+ not showing up, I have already told you about this in your ticket. Some modules / plugins / template are messing up with this. If you try it with protostar, it works.

Screen shot #2

Sorry but that is not possible currently.

I will be locking this thread, and you should start a new thread if you have issues that are not related to your initial question which is about the cobalt theme.
