The post cover images in the popular sidebar are missing "alt" tags. How do correct this?
Try disable this `photo layout - Crop Photo Cover` from backend > extension > module manager > Easyblog - Most Popular module > photo tab and see how it goes.

You're welcome.

You can refer on my attached screenshot below.

If still unable to find it, can you provide us with your Joomla backend Super admin access so I can help you with this?

I was able to locate the setting and I tried disabling "crop photo cover" but it had no effect.

On a side note, the module was not set as "published". I changed it to published but I am not certain what the difference is when it is set to publish or not published?

Any other ideas?

I will investigate on this when you provide us with your Joomla backend Superadmin access.

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies.

I updated the site access so you should be all set. Basically, what I am trying to do is minimize the errors when I run a WACG scan on the site. We are getting an excessive amount of errors on our blog page. I am at the point where I am about to simply disable the blog until this gets resolved. You can see the results here:
http://wave.webaim.org/report#/http://www.yapawebtest.com/sunsetfoods/news/blog

In addition to no alt tags on the popular posts, there is no alt tag on the social media icons. This may be a separate post but it is not clear to me how to get a Facebook share icon to appear in the posts. The Twitter icon is appearing but no other social sites.

Thanks for getting back to us quickly, but you provided that `guest` user account, I still unable to login in your Joomla backend, perhaps you can double check for this `guest` user account from backend and see is it assigned to have Super admin privileges yet?

In addition to no alt tags on the popular posts, there is no alt tag on the social media icons. This may be a separate post but it is not clear to me how to get a Facebook share icon to appear in the posts. The Twitter icon is appearing but no other social sites.

Yes, I will check for the popular post module, because it should show the ALT tag for image.

By the way, regarding with your social share icon do not have `ALT` tag, this is actually out of our control. We actually just render the Facebook share button which provided by their social network API.

I updated the guest settings. I did have it set as a "Super User" but I also had "author" checked so I unchecked Author. Hopefully that resolves it.

hey there,

I've help you disable that option, it should work fine now, can you give it a check again?

If the issue still persists, it would be best if you can provide us with your FTP access so we can troubleshoot on this.
