I think you have it. That is the correct setting that should make that link navigate back to EasySocial. It's not clear from your screenshots, but I am guessing when you click Edit Profile that it does not take you back to EasySocial?

Make sure you clicked Save for the settings, then try clearing your browser cache as well as log out and log back in to your frontend and see if the setting works now.

Maybe you also have to make this change:

Joomla administrator panel (back end) -> Components -> EasyBlog -> Settings -> Layout -> Avatar (tab) -> In the "Avatar Integrations" section choose Yes and from the drop down menu choose EasySocial

(note: maybe you don't want to integrate avatars, but you should try to see if it fixes the issue and update back here if you think it's a bug)

I have already tried all of your proposed Tips and therefore believe that there is something wrong. Also I've already set up the whole thing on a different page without problems. The other page is not yet up do date so maybe there is a issue or my installation is buged.

Not sure what else I can do on my side. I am sure my settings are correct.
