Hi,

When a new blog is posted, every user in my site is sent an email, regardless if they have subscribed to that specific author or that authors blog.

Can you please let me know where the settings are for this? I'm pretty sure I have configured it to only send emails out to subscribers who have agreed to receive updates.

Thanks
Hi Fidel,

The setting is fall under (settings>notification>blogs: http://take.ms/TftOg )

I have tried this but people are still receiving all and they don't see an unsubscribe link and they are getting very mad at me lol.

It appears as if everyone is auto subscribed to everything and I have turned this off also

Hey Fidel,

I tried to look into your settings of EasyBlog and the "Notify all users" has already been disabled and EasyBlog shouldn't be sending to everyone on the site.

Can I publish a test blog post on the site to try this out?

Hey Fidel,

I just tried to publish a blog post and there are no e-mail activities being generated in EasyBlog except for one of the subscriber, http://take.ms/d61ub

By any chance, did your authors try to check these options, http://take.ms/x87Ey ? If they did, then EasyBlog would notify these user groups.

I will ask my authors. Is there away to avoid allowing them to be able to select who receives the notifications?
