Hi

I get a problem and dont know if others have this problem about EB latest RSS feed importer.

Scenario.

Import a RSS feed where it seems to be a feed restriction setting that people have to read the full post with a subscription on the feed import site. But you are allowed to import that full feed to your site.

Import that feed to your EB with no settings that you have to login to read the post in general that you have for your site and working for other feeds.

When user click and want to read the full post for that specific feed posts in your EB site they are redirected to login and must create a profile before they can read the post.If you have logged in you can read that post if not you have to register.

How can you solve this from happening?

Where can you see if that imported post have set up any specific code that prevent users from reading the whole article?
Hey Stan,

Sorry, but not entirely sure if I understand what you are trying to achieve here. Could you please help me out here?

1. Are you trying to restrict users from reading the full content on your site?

or

2. Are you saying that users cannot read the full post on your site when the feed item is imported into your site?

Hi Mark

its no 2.

The RSS feed you import have a restriction that users must login to that "external" site where you import your feeds from.

In your site you have no such restrictions b u t that feed import make restrictions to EB in your site and users of your site have to login to see those blog articles. So the restictions get imported by the feed to your site even you have no such settings for your site, blogs or feed.

Hey Stan,

Is there a sample post that has this problem? I tried clicking on all of the 3 posts on https://www.whattodo.com/member-club/blogs and it's showing up just fine for me (I am not logged in on the site)
