Hey Paul,

This is actually the biography module which is used to primarily link to EasyBlog's author page rather than your EasySocial profile page. Some site owner still wants to retain the author's page as it would be easier for them to view blog posts from a particular author rather than linking to their profile page in EasySocial.

If you don't want this, I would suggest you to disable this module as the primary purpose of this module is to link to the author's blog page.

OK got it.
Please check out the screen shot.
So I switch off the "biography module"

Underneath the post it still point to the EB "biography module" where for eg the website is wrong.
Is it possible to switch this out with a box showing a preview of the ES Profile page?

If not where do I edit the EB profile?

The website field here is taken from EasyBlog. Just go to the toolbar and click on the "Gear" icon. Then, click on "Edit Profile".

You can make changes for website link at component-> Easy Blog-> Authors-> Blog Settings-> website

Thanks for the tip where to set this.
I still find this a little confusing.
If for e.g. I go here:
http://finalbug.net/blog/blogger/62-paurray
Clicking the same image and same name will take me to different places.

Am I being weird again or would it not make sense if both images/names just went to an ES profile.
If this were the case then technical the above link would not even exist!!!

This is done on purpose as there needs to be an ability for users to display all blog posts from a specific author in EasyBlog rather than linking it to their profile page.

I have just updated the theme file for your site and it should link to the profile page of EasySocial instead.
