Safari!
Logged on, download of EB.
In the statusbar, you can follow the download.

Again, the download is a folder!!!

I have asked my colleague with Safari to test this and it is downloading as a zip for him(video).

Sorry for the late response. The answer is correct.
The Safari Preference can automatically "unzip" downloaded archives.
