Hi,

Regarding the editor of EasyBlog, some users may want to use NoEditor and some users may want to use JCE...

Can I configure for this issue?
Arlex,

Well I understand:)
But in future release, I want to you to add the feature to EB to control which editor will be used.
I mean it is good to us if we have the option to make EB display its default editor or user's default editor.

I believe Joomla core content system and K2 pick user's editor.

Hello masanori oyama,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
You can configure from the JCE-Editor component > profile > default > setup > assignment > user , check my screenshot explanation.

Hi Arlex,

Thank you for the advice.
So, does default editor of EasyBlog have higher priority than user's default editor?
I mean if a user changes his default editor, will EasyBlog change the editor for him?

Hello Masanori oyama,

You're welcome
If I'm not wrong, the normal user doesn't have the permission to change their editor from frontend, unless that user have the permission to access in your Joomla backend.

Hi Arlex,

Oh, is it?
I believe the registered user can choose their editor form frontend.
We can have the custom field for the user editor in EasySocial Profile Type setting...

Hello masanori oyama,

Oh i see, that is correct if you integrate the profile with Easysocial, because you didn't mention that you are using the Easysocial profile.

If the user using back the default Easyblog profile, that will not available the editor option for user configuration from frontend.

So, does default editor of EasyBlog have higher priority than user's default editor?
I mean if a user changes his default editor, will EasyBlog change the editor for him?

>> Yes, if you wouldn't like to allow your user change their editor from their profile, you can disable the option from your Easysocial profile type.
>> Then using my first suggestion.
