All of a sudden I cannot edit a post and publish it. When i click publish or update post from the backend editor, i am directed to my frontend 404 error page.

This happened all of a sudden because i was able to create a post and edit/publish it several times. Then all of a sudden i cannot edit it and i don't know what changed. ....other than too many image in the blog post???

Im running the most recent version of EB and right now i'm updating to joomla 3.7 to see if that corrects the issue??
I have updated to 3.7 and no changes. I still cannot edit this one blog post -

Summer Camp for Kids - Be Apart of the "Jesus Generation"

i can edit/publish any other blog post and i can create a new one but this one i cannot edit.

hey Garrett,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

If I recall correctly, we already disabled that error reporting from your backend, it shouldn't show any other error on frontend.

We still investigate on this, but suddenly can't access on your site, is it can correct your FTP details so I can continuous figure out on this?

Because this is what i hitting when i trying to connect with your FTP server :

Status: Resolving address of xxx.xxx.xxxx
Status: Connecting to 198.54.116.172:21...
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

Looking forward of your response.

Strange, it seems like i still unable to access your site and your FTP server.

Is it your server already blocked other country access your site?

Perhaps you can unblock our current IP address : 175.139.129.151

So i will check again whether i can access your site now.

I don't see an IP blocker in cpanel. so i don't know why it is blocking you. Also, there is no block on other countries. Where else can i check?

Hello Garrett,

After spending an hour debugging this, I believe the problem is coming from the web server. I believe there are some words used in the post that are triggering the security module of your web server that is trying to reject the request.

Could you check with your web host if there are any logs of indicator of such blocks?

Okay, got with Namecheap support and it looks like the ModSecurity was being triggered and they said it was a false-positive. they have whitelisted the error.

so when i go back and try to publish that one article and after i click publish, this error comes up

string(5) "debug"

was there something that you changed on the backend?

Sorry, it was my bad. I have removed my debug codes earlier. Can you give this a try again?

Okay, i think i got it fixed....i just deleted the tab block and some of the images and when i clicked publish, it worked.

So i'm assuming it was just the size the post being uploaded to the server that was causing it to timeout?

Hi there,

It is possible that those might be why you hit those issues. It would be best if you can consult with your web hosting service provider regarding this issues.

Please advice.
