Hi guys.
Please refer to my earlier post (http://stackideas.com/forums/white-screen-after-es-1-3-30-when-logging-in)
My website is now not functioning when logging in if a user has previously written a blog post. I have posted this here as it clearly isn't an EasySocial problem as I first thought, but a problem with the latest 5.0.21 upgrade which I installed this morning.
If this can be looked at ASAP I'd appreciate it as I am now unable to manage EB in the backend and unable to post any blog entries.
Thanks
Hi.
Don't know if this helps. When I get a blank screen in the EB backend, if I remove the ?option=com_easyblog from the /index.php I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare jexit() (previously declared in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/itadviceserver/public/libraries/loader.php:621) in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/itadviceserver/public/libraries/loader.php on line 621

If I remove the entire index.php string, I can return to the main Joomla admin panel

I am not able to save any settings in EB - very disappointed as I have very large images that spoil the look of my site - still waiting for a fix. Any idea how I can make 'Save' work on settings?

Hey Chris,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we are currently having a Joomla conference here in Malaysia and most of the team are involved in the preparation.

I am not sure is it same problem with Dave, perhaps you can try my instruction and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, can you create another new post and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Hey Chris,

You can try run this query :

// Replace #_ to your table prefix
SELECT COUNT( 1 ) FROM `#__easyblog_acl_group`

If this table having huge record `#_easyblog_acl_group`, so it will hitting timeout issue in installation process.

Then try run this query delete all the record in this table `#__easyblog_acl_group`

// Replace #_ to your table prefix
TRUNCATE TABLE `#__easyblog_acl_group`

After that, re-save all the ACL user group settings from backend > Easyblog > ACL > select all the user group > click save

Hi Arlex,
thanks for quick reply. Sorry, I don't know how to run queries... :-(
Maybe you can do it? See my FTP/Joomla-Logins at "old" ticket #42999.
Thanks a lot,
Chris
