Hello to the Dream Team

I would like to create more interactions between our site and our official FB page.
And I am wondering what kind of 'link', on both sides, I can set up.

1. From Easyxx => FB
- do we have any mean to publish directly to FB?
- any others tips?

.2 from FB => Easyxx
- I suppose that I can publish from FB a kind of permalink to a group, a blog's publication, an event?
- any others tips?

Thanks for your help
Hey there,

Do you mean that once you post something into EasyBlog for an example, it also will post 'what you had posted in EB' into your Facebook automatically something like that?

If yes, you can check it out the autoposting with Facebook feature in EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss, and EasyArticle.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to achieve this at this point of time.

For your information, when I was trying to access your backend, it gave me a word "error" only.

In general for EasySocial with autoposting https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/applications/facebook-apps

but you can check also JFC connect that integrate well with Easyxxx https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/jfbconnect/

Another question about this 'FB auto-posting' feature.
It sounds like a no-post/all-post button.

My initial need is to grant members to
- write and publish a text into EasyBlog
- and then to publish it on FB

more a 'publish on FB' button ...case by case, not for everything ... does it mean sense?

I know that Facebook change a lot for their integration and postings so you have to check here with the recommendations from Stackideas guys saying how to do that.They have a similar solution for Linkedin for EasyBlog if I remember right..

Thx again ssnoben
As you said, my understanding is that FB changed the rules and that is not yet possible to autopost to FB.
I will find out with the Stackideas guys

Cheers

Hey there,

Actually, we already discontinued this feature since Facebook announced deprecated `publish_actions` permission from their latest API.

By the way, we will remove this documentation https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/applications/facebook-apps from our site.

It is possible for EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss, and EasyArticle as I mentioned earlier but it will autopost to Facebook Groups and Pages only.
