Hi everybody,

I just play around with wanderers and I have an interesting issue:
The ES-Navbar is not shown. No matter, if I turn it on in EasySocial or if I use the Navbar-Module on external pages, it is never shown. How can I use the Navbar in Wanderers?

This brings up a second question:
I still love the dropdown-menu-module. It is looking very, very nice and it is even more usefull then the navbar. But ... the menu itself still is "the wrong one".

I like to have the same menu in the dropdown as in the navbar-dropdown. It does not make too much sense to me, that you develop such a nice dropdown-menu-module and then it´s not possible to use it for the ES-own internal menu.

Will this be fixed/improved someday?

All the best, Julian!
Hi Julian,

I am sorry for the late reply.

I am sorry, I believe Wanderers is designed not to display the toolbar and the navbar. If you want to display it, you can copy all files here: .../components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/toolbar/... and paste it here: .../templates/wanderers/html/com_easysocial/toolbar/... this is a customization and it will get override with the latest version of Wanderers.

I still love the dropdown-menu-module. It is looking very, very nice and it is even more usefull then the navbar. But ... the menu itself still is "the wrong one".
The dropdown menu, actually follows the menu which you have created in the menu manager. You can refer to this documentation on how to create the menu: http://wanderers.stackideas.com/documentation/module-positions/9-documentation .

If you have anymore question please do not hesitate to ask us.
Thanks

I know. But unfortunatelly, your es-user-menu does not show up as a regular menu:

This is what the request is about:
How to use the es-user-menu as a normal menu/in the dropdown-module.

Hi Julian,

Regarding your question:
How to use the es-user-menu as a normal menu/in the dropdown-module.
I am sorry, currently there is no settings to display the es-user-menu in the dropdown-module. However, you can achieve this by creating a hidden menu for each the menu items and assign that hidden menu in the dropdown-module. Here is the setting: http://screencast.com/t/fEegUlj6U .

Hope I explained it well.

Hi Mohd,

it would not work correctly with a hidden menu:
Your menu is nicely designed, with icons and some nested items. A hidden menu would look ... just like a list.

This feature is not essential for me. If it would, I already would have created a menu for that issue.
So I didn´t want to ask for a dirty fix, I just wanted to keep that topic in mind.

For my opinion, the dropdown-module is very, very nice and I think, many more users would use it, if it would have that functionality. Especialy in the wanderers-template, the dropdown in combination with the search and the notification-icons can COMPLETELY fullfill the job of the navbar and looks much nicer then the navbar:

Only the one issue is missing: The es-user-menu in the dropdown.

And as the es-user-menu already exists, I think it would be a small task for your coders with a big positive effect for your customers.

All the best, Juilan!
