It's posible SSL in Easysocial? thanks

Si instalo SSL solo en formularios de registro? Tendría este problema?
If I install SSL only on registration forms? I'd have this problem?

Podría indicarme en caso de que no haya ningún problema, las carpetas que debo instalar el certificado SSL, para que solo proteja formularios de registro?
Yes, it should work fine on SSL but there is a small issue when you share non https links though. You could face issues about "Mixed / Blocked content"

Hello,

I tried placing your content on Google Translate because I don't understand Spanish but the translation result is very bad. Can you please write this in English?

Oh no, this issue only happens when you access the site with "https", especially on the dashboard area. If you are only using on the registration page, it's perfectly fine

For login it is tricky because if you don't secure the initial forms before transmission then SSL is wasted.

If you want a secured site, it is better to SSL the entire site and not just one section.

That's just my opinion.

Hi,

If you only have certain folders protected by SSL, then you might have a lot of mixed content issues here.

The only way to run everything on SSL without getting the mixed/content error is to do it on the webserver's layer. You are running on a social site which may or may not contain data from a site that does not have utilize SSL. Take this scenario for example, you try to embed a video from a specific video provider but they do not support ssl in their embed codes. There is nothing we can do

The best way is to do it at the server layer, http://blog.iprofs.nl/2012/04/02/preventing-mixed-content-warnings-in-your-webapplication/

Hi guys when I am embedding a youtube with such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qOcaBhLh3Q&html5=1 mix content triggers off. What is causing it since the youtube is already in https mode?

Hello Sam,

Hm, if the video is already https it shouldn't throw any errors. Perhaps something else is causing this?

I will do some testing on new installation but I really can't see what would cause it apart from some setting.

Hello Sam,

Could you please start a new thread and include the site's access as well as the FTP access? I will check on this for you.
