This might just be a future feature request, but who knows this may be possible with a little fiddling around.

Is it possible to set video recording time limits?

For example:
Is it possible to tweak the system to allow a total amount of video recording to 30 seconds or 120 seconds?

I see there is a way to set a maximum size.
So was thinking there might be a way to set time limits somewhere.
Maybe with the help of a little code?
Oh, I think i get what your meaning now, but currently that do not have quickly way to implement this since we do not have this feature in current version. Perhaps I can help you move this thread to "Easysocial - Feature request" category, so we will see if there a lot of user request this feature as well, we will definitely consider to implement this in the future.

Do you mean when the user upload a video in Easysocial, you would like to restrict it and only allow encoding that video only a few minute based on the limit you set?

For example : The full video duration time is around 60 minute, but you would like to cut off only allow encoding that video 30 minute?

I was thinking more of a member using the video on their phone or computer to record directly to the site.
Then on the site, there would be a timer ticking down for the amount of time they had left before it stopped recording.

However, what you purpose, if possible now would be a fantastic start
