Hello

Users with a valid Payplans subcription CANNOT CREATE NEW PAGE OR NEW MARKETPLACE LISTING. They hit the attached error message.

Sample profile: (Cleaner / Cleaning Agency - Gold user profile)

- There are no Payplans app restriction that limits the amount of pages they can create; and

- There are no EasySocial user profile ACL limit that stops them from creating pages,

By the way, the error message refers to Marketplaces when in fact, this is generated from a page error.

We have identified this to be a Payplans bug associated with the Payplan Apps "easysocialpagesubmission" and "easysocialmarketplacesubmission"?. which we have enabled on our website. When we disable these apps, users can create page and market listing, but, when we enable them, we hit the error again.

We require this Payplans app restriction, help address this bug

Thank you
Since you do not have set any creation limit from the following apps, then I would advise you don't create these apps, because the system does not allow the user to create new pages and Marketplaces item if you did not set any creation limit from the apps.

- Easysocial page submission
- Easysocial Marketplaces submission

I noticed you already have configured as long as the user subscription expired, the system will update their profile type from "Valid subscription" profile type to "Expired Cleaners fall back plan" profile type.

So this user can't create a new pages and marketplaces item on the site, is this what you want to achieve?

If yes, you definitely no need to create the above restriction app anymore.

Hi

No, that is not what we want to achieve.

What we want is to allow users with valid subscribption to create unlimited pages and marketplace listings that is why we left it blank.

However, taking your advice, we have now set the limit to one million (1,000,000) pages and listings, yet, users with valid subscription cannot create pages or marketplace listings.

This time, it says under pages creation that user not allowed to create a page under this category, whereas, we have not set any Page Creation Access restrictions . For Marketplaces listing creation, it shows the same error message as before

This still appears to be a bug

In this case, it is a bug, I already applied some fixes on your site regarding the following files :

JoomlaFolder/plugins/payplans/easysocialmarketplacesubmission/easysocialmarketplacesubmission.php
JoomlaFolder/plugins/payplans/easysocialmarketplacesubmission/app/easysocialmarketplacesubmission.php
JoomlaFolder/plugins/payplans/easysocialmarketplacesubmission/app/helper.php

You need to test with the new subscription.

Hello Arlex,

This issue appears to be back.

We hit the attached error message when trying to create a page as Admin (Please note, we hit the same message when signed in as a regular user).

When we try to create page from backend, we hit error 403. When we try to create market listing, we hit the attached error again

When we try to create page from backend, we hit error 403. When we try to create market listing, we hit the attached error again

Is it possible for you to share with us one of the login accounts which can replicate the issue so we can investigate this?

Because I've tested this "testaccount@gmail.com"(subscribed Gold package plan), it seems this account can able to create a new pages and marketplaces item.

We hit the attached error message when trying to create a page as Admin

It seems like I can't replicate the issue, you can watch my attached video, I've tested using this account stackideas@cleancountry.com .

I already applied some fixes on your site, the site admin should always have the right to create anything on the site, the restriction only checks for the subscribers.

JoomlaFolder/plugins/payplans/easysocialmarketplacesubmission/easysocialmarketplacesubmission.php
JoomlaFolder/plugins/payplans/easysocialpagesubmission/easysocialpagesubmission.php

Can you give it a check again?

By the way, I am still unable to replicate the backend 403 error using this user account "admin@cleaningcountry.com", perhaps you can record a video for us so that we can follow your step on how to reproduce the issue?
