StackIdeas team, please review the string here: https://forum.jreviews.com/topic/27999-easysocial-user-reviews/

This is concerning the User Profile Layout for apps vs the Group and Event layouts. Alejandro at JReviews suggest that it is because of the system in EasySocial. Is there a way to rectify this to provide a consistent view across each section of EasySocial?

User Apps currently offer a Widget and Application Canvas option where as the view in Groups and Events looks like a third option?

Thanks,
James
Hi James,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we are heavily occupied with development work currently.

Currently it is not possible to for us to adjust the positioning of the profile apps below the profile header since it require a lot of modification to achieve this but we will consider this in the future.

Hope you understand.

Thanks Ezrul.

The main area of concern is obviously the positioning and layout of the app itself however JReviews is also publishing their review rating stars in the profile area. See here for a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/ZX1QtYfa

Can you tell me what files I would need to modify to change the positioning? Or a general direction to the files.

Thanks,
James

Would indeed be an improvement to incorporate the view modeled in "Groups" and "Events" over to "Profile".

I've been working with the Shika LMS; it auto-creates an ES group and adds students to the group when they enroll in a course. I'd be great to have the teacher's rating in their ES profile have the same look n' feel as the rating of their corresponding ES Group for the course.

Hi James,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

You can try to go to your /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/profile/default.header.php and locate the following code that looks like below:
<?php echo $this->render( 'widgets' , 'user' , 'profile' , 'widgetposition' , array( $user ) ); ?>

I am not entirely sure which position that jreview are using so you might want to find it first before you can try to move the widgets at the profile header footer.

Hope these help and have a nice day!

I realize that many of us want the same thing !

I made a video to simulate what could be a perfect integration of JReviews in a EasySocial group.
James suggested I integrate this video to this conversation

This video illustrates concretely what we would see. The approach is the same for events and user profiles.
