After updating to EasySocial 2.1.1 I noticed that there were a few issues.

Unable to click any of the topbar notices; such as when a notification arrives for a friend request, etc.. (see attached)

Also, noticed some naming conventions off (see attached)
Yes, that is same issue with your previous thread here https://stackideas.com/forums/easydiscuss-update-issue-1#reply-370117

Lastly, I noticed that the checking for updates and the entire dashboard within EasySocial remains thinking, but doesn't populate anything.. ( see attached)

Hi Ulysses,

Can i have permission to re-install EasySocial 2.1 into your site?

p/s: as you undergo update it will effect your core file, you're suggested to backup your customization if any

I have quite a few customizations, but rolled the dice before this update and didn't export the settings.
Went in now to export, but it won't allow me to since it's unable to be located
Do what you must, as I really like it to be fully functioning again.
Have my permission... But if you know of a way I can obtain the settings on the backend via sftp, please let me know first.

Hey Ulysses,

I believe there is some permission issues with your temporary directory in Joomla because the script wasn't able to create file in the temporary folder.

I can't seem to login to SFTP too. Could you send the key file over to mark AT stackideas.com please?

Hi Mark,
I sent it over..
Can you confirm receipt, please?

Also, you may know, but just incase
Arlex Wong & Abdul Warith Norudin were working on:

Beginning to think they are all interconnected somehow:(

In other words, I should disable FTP when updating moving forward?
