easysocial update failed

Hi Guys,

I tried to update to 1.4.9 from 1.4.8 and got the error shown in the picture. Normally the updates work fine.


JFolder::create: Could not create folder.Path: /home/public_html
Warning: Failed to move file!


How can I resolve this issue?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. This is not an issue with EasySocial and this is most likely because your temporary path in Joomla's Global Configuration is set incorrectly.

To fix this, this is what you can do:

1. You can go to System > Global Configuration
2. Click on the Server tab.
3. Set the correct path to the temporary folder, for the settings "Path to Temp Folder".
