I am trying to set up our site with the EasySocial toolbar module set to show in a particular way on mobile devices, but if I set the option "Show home icon" off it still shows up when you view the site on a mobile phone.

Also I'm trying to create a bar that just has the notification icons on, but even if I turn off all options apart from those it still shows the navigation burger menu?

I tried using the EasySocial Menu module but there isn't a way I can see in that to not have it display the users profile banner?

(this is on our test site which is at test.faenet.org but all logins etc should be same as for live site)
Hi Itamar,

Kindly find my response for your inquiries below:
I am trying to set up our site with the EasySocial toolbar module set to show in a particular way on mobile devices, but if I set the option "Show home icon" off it still shows up when you view the site on a mobile phone.

Seems like there is a bug regarding this. I've logged this in our issue tracker

Also I'm trying to create a bar that just has the notification icons on, but even if I turn off all options apart from those it still shows the navigation burger menu?

Yes, because there is still menu as you click on the burger menu.If you want to totally remove the burger menu you can customize in the file:
.../components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.php

I tried using the EasySocial Menu module but there isn't a way I can see in that to not have it display the users profile banner?

I'm not quite get what you mean here, can you explain more in detail perhaps with some screenshot might help us a lot

Thanks for answers so far - I had thought there was a module that was just the status icons but perhaps you dropped that (or it could be my bad memory as I've also used JomSocial so it may have been there I saw it!)

I've attached two screen shots, first is how it looks now, second is how we would like it. In the module "EasySocial Menu Module" there are loads of options which is great, but one that is missing is "Show profile header image" perhaps, then we could get exactly what we after (to be honest we are trying to get it quite like the layout you get on a mobile with your Vanilla template!)

Hey Itamar,

Hm, if you turn off the cover, the avatar would look really weird just all alone by itself. This is why we never added the possibility to turn off the cover in the module.

But I don't want the avatar either (see example 2)

Hi Itamar,

Regarding your inquiry, basically you only want to show the notifications (system, friend and conversation notification) http://take.ms/PxvgK that has been render in the 'easysocial menu module' yes?
If like that you actually can use 'easysocial notification module' instead

Yes that's correct - I thought there was a notification module but when I looked I couldn't find it, however I have found it now ?, thanks for pointing me to that!
