Hi,

I just searched for an article using Easysocial's drop down search and was redirected to a strange domain.

I searched for "ecoso" and was given 5 possible domains.. The first one was correct, the others all gave urls in the following form:

http://domain.comfinder_indexer.php/documentaries/united-natures
The website domain "domain.comfinder_indexer.php" should be my website url

Easyblog smart search results do not have this issue.

Cheers, David
Thanks for the access David.

After investigating, we managed to detect a bug from EasyBlog's smart search plugin, which occurs only when the indexing is being done from command line interface. I will log this issue in our tracker.

I have attached a temporary fix file which you can apply into the following directory. Then purge and index your smart search results from the command line again.
JoomlaFolder/plugins/finder/easyblog/easyblog.php

Let us know how it goes.

Hi David,

Can I have a permission to re-index your smart search?

Hi Fadhli,

I just tried to re-index using the Joomla back-end and after 20 minutes, the screen was still showing re-indexing. I manually re-indexed using SSH/Putty - see this link - and reindexing was completed after 30 seconds:
/public_html/cli/php finder_indexer.php --purge

When I search using Easysocial, all the Easyblog pages have domain.comfinder in the url. All the Eaysocial links seem to work.

When I search using Easyblog, all the links seem to work.

Please advise

Hi David,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the PhyMyAdmin to your site to check on this issue? as I suspect the link that has been store is already incorrect.

You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

Hi Fadhli,

Have just updated Easyblog and Easysocial and re-indexed the search using the command line method described above
ie... /public_html/cli/php finder_indexer.php --purge

I checked the ..._finder_links table in phpMyAdmin and the routes are wrong.. See attached image.

As mentioned, all the other Easysocial links work. Let me know if you need phpmyadmin access.

Cheers, David

Hi David,

Sure we would like to have the phpmyadmin access as we want to investigate further those stored links.

Do let us know when you have provided us the access to your database.

Just a heads up, I will also disable some smart search plugins while troubleshooting the issue.
