1. How can i configure so that the Easysocial toolbar search crawls the Closed Group also, as currently it is only searching Open Groups? I want to remain Invite-only as non-searchable.

By default, the search will search for both Open and Closed Groups. Invite-only groups by default are non-searchable.

2. Can the search also include the Group Categories?

Unfortunately, the search function cannot search by Group Category.

3. May i know when will the Event search be available? Any plugins to help the search for now?

By default the search function will also search for events.
