Hi,

Is is possible to add, to the EasySocial Login/Registration module, options for the user to register using their Facebook, Google, etc. accounts?

If so, how do I do this?

TIA - Jeff.
Right now, only facebook is supported.

If you logged in the backend of easysocial and fill out your facebook API and Secret Key, the facebook login will show up.

Thanks checksum.

I don't know anything at all about Facebook API's.

How do I go about setting this up?

TIA - Jeff.

Jeff, you can also look at the JFBconnect extension.

It extends the login to Facebook, Twitter, Google and LinkedIn. It also integrates with EasySocial.

Hello Jeff Suddaby,

There is Easysocial setup documentation about Facebook integration.
http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/configuration/facebook

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Jeff,

If you are interested in JFBConnect and need a step by step guide on how to add the 4 main social buttons to all ES/ED/K login menu/modules using the JFBConnect component, see my word doc in the last post of this thread (David did all the hard work, I only put together a guide).

One example of the many options:

THANKS RICHARD. THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!

Exactly what I was looking for.

It will obviously take me a while to work through it but your screenshots show it is certainly worth the trouble.

I'll start wrassling with it sometime in the next few days.

In the meantime, where can I find the JFBConnect component?

Best Regards,

Jeff.

Good one Richard!

Had hoped 1.2 would have supported more networks like G+ and Twitter.

JFBConnect seems to only fully support FB but the others are just for login, is that right?

Sourcecoast

David did a fantastic job putting everything together in coding the layouts from scratch in the other thread (see my post above), really appreciated.

Thanks Richard,

I really appreciate your input here.

Maybe after I ask another 3000 questions or so, I'll be able to put something back into this Forum that I'm getting so much out of.

Anyway, thanks to you ALL!

- Jeff.
