G'day Stackideas Team,

I am having trouble getting PayPlans to link a plan with the different EasySocial Profile types. At this stage, the site is continually selecting my 'Editor' profile instead of the associated plan eg. Educator -> Educator Profile, Student 7-12 -> Student Profile.

I have tried to follow all the steps in the documentation and view the site using different browsers and platforms but PayPlans / EasySocial keeps defaulting to the one profile type.

Can you please have a look to see what I am missing?

Hey Andrew,

I've checked your site and found that the Easysocial Profiletpes app created is applicable for all plans, that's why profile types are not applied correctly.

You need to select the plans on app configuration, so when the user subscribed to that plan associated profile type.

So, change the Easysocial app and check this issue again.

You have set up the Plan Assignment also, this plan assignment will assign the plans to the user when the user registered to a specific profile type as you set up.

For example, When a user registered under the "Educator" profile on the site, the user will be assigned to the "Individual Educator" plan for free.

What I understand is that a plan assignment is not needed in your case otherwise it will duplicate the plans.

Thanks for the reply and help. That explains a lot.

Would any of the above issues highlighted have an effect on why the payment process (post profile forms) is now causing errors. See attached images for further information. In essence, the site is now giving me a 404 error page and only proceeds to payment screen when "back" is selected on page.

I've checked and found that this issue is coming because there is a syntax error in the email verify template you create in the template override path.
Here: /andacod.com/public_html/templates/rt_koleti/html/com_easysocial/emails/registration/verify.php

I've already helped you to correct this and no longer hit any issues.
Please take a look at this issue again and update us if this still issue persists.
