I need all the posts, users and so on my new site... how can I copy them from my older installation?
Regards,
Raphael
Hi there,

Maybe it would best if you can provide us with more details on your requirement above. Is it you wanted to migrate your Easysocial from Site A to Site B? And is it your current version for both site using same version? And did your new site, already have any data in it(created on the site)?

Please advice.

Yes, I need my Easysocial from my old site also on my new one... and there I installed only sellacious and easysocial yet, but didn't made any changes. Yes, I use the same Joomla version and the same easysocial version on both sites. The reason for this is that I can't install sellacious on the older one, and therfore I installed on a new installation the quickstart of sellacious. But I have some things already configured including some users with posts, and that's why I try to copy them from site A to B.

Hey Raphael,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, does both site has the same users and user id's? It will be very tricky to port over these data if the user id's are not the same (Especially Joomla users)

Hi there,

If that so, it should be no problems for you to migrate(copy those data) to your new site. You need to make sure you didn't include your Super User from older site to your new site. Please give it a try and see how it goes.

It would be best if you can made a backup for both your site, for safety precautions, in case there are unwanted issues occurs.
