Good news !

I have spoken of this to our developer, they inform that it is indeed complicated to achieve as custom fields, workflows, and ACL is tied to categories thus, it is not possible to achieve this at this point in time.
As there is already a few feature request regarding this has been submitted, perhaps, in the future, there is the best way to achieve this

Hi everybody,

After my analyze, there is a solution to complete all requirement to get something interesting about user, page, event and group pages.

"Categories" for page, event and group have to become "page type", "event type" and "group type" to let custom field and workflow as is it. Like "profile type" for user.

"Tags" have to be added like in easyblog and get the same possibilities like "multi-tag" and "autofill" and let or not to the user to create is own category or not.

Tags have to get a menu like in Easyblog. If my tag is #joomla in event, link menu will be https://yourwebsite.com/event/tags/joomla.

We have to get the possibility to get tag menu instead category menu like in Easyblog.

And if I push the idea to its maximum, I could make a search by tag in Easysocial for instance and getting related tag to easydiscuss, easyblog, easysocial, article, jreviews, ....

What do you think?

If I don't forget something, I think that meets the technical constraints that Mark was talking about and the needs of everyone.

Can we get an answer about it? And if my idea meets all requirement, how many time can we get it? Now it is urgent.
