I have been testing the new Mobile Web Template and have some pretty big concern's / issues:

- My main website template breaks when viewing it through the mobile web template
- My joomla template main menu is inaccessible completely so navigation to other aspects of my website are completely removed and only allow for easysocial navigation
- The mobile web template does not currently show any of the EasySocial Apps, for example easydiscuss, easyblog, articles, kunena, etc... - SOLVED (CLICK FILTER)
- The mobile web template does not currently show any of my Joomla template modules

These are all very major issues that for me render the new template useless.

No doubt it is a good concept but these features need to be introduced as soon as possible.

Thank,
James
Thanks for posting this James. I had planned to buy this template today, but will wait now until solutions are provided.

No problem Randall, glad to help.

I think it is a great concept. It just needs some hands on user use and feedback. As I encounter additional issues I will post them here so that we can make this a better product.

Thanks,
James

Hi James,

Kindly find my response for your inquiries below:
- My main website template breaks when viewing it through the mobile web template
-> Correct me if I'm wrong here, do you mean when you access another page apart from easysocial it do not using your current template (eg: JA template). Perhaps, you can enable the setting in the plugin (system-easysocial mobile) to Render On EasySocial Pages Only https://www.screencast.com/t/UXeRknaKg

- My joomla template main menu is inaccessible completely so navigation to other aspects of my website are completely removed and only allow for easysocial navigation
-> Perhaps you can enable the 'render joomla menu' and choose menu that you want to use https://www.screencast.com/t/KQ4stgquHhQy

- The mobile web template does not currently show any of my Joomla template modules
-> I will extend this inquiry to our developers and see how they thought as should or not included in the incoming version

Thanks Muhammad,

- My main website template breaks when viewing it through the mobile web template[/b]
-> Correct me if I'm wrong here, do you mean when you access another page apart from easysocial it do not using your current template (eg: JA template). Perhaps, you can enable the setting in the plugin (system-easysocial mobile) to Render On EasySocial Pages Only https://www.screencast.com/t/UXeRknaKg - This is still an issue, I would like the Mobile Template on ALL pages but yes, in my Joomlart Template all of the elements in the body of the template are gone.

- My joomla template main menu is inaccessible completely so navigation to other aspects of my website are completely removed and only allow for easysocial navigation[/b]
-> Perhaps you can enable the 'render joomla menu' and choose menu that you want to use https://www.screencast.com/t/KQ4stgquHhQy - This is resolved, but oddly this was already enabled. I saved the plugin again and the changes took effect. Now my Main Menu is rendered in the top left of the app. I would like to say that this would be better as an off-canvas menu. The block layout is a bit much, especially for folks who are going to have a lot of menu items and sub menu items.

- The mobile web template does not currently show any of my Joomla template modules[/b]
-> I will extend this inquiry to our developers and see how they thought as should or not included in the incoming version - Thank you for having this pushed through. I realize there is no immediate fix but it will be nice. This corelates to the first issue above. In my dev site where I am doing the testing I am using a Joomlart T3 Template but I am using QUIX to build my pages. This includes QUIX Elements and Joomla Modules and neither display.

Please let me know about issues 1 and 3 and the possibility of changing the menu to off-canvas. For the menu, you can look at any modern Joomlart Template to see how they handle it.

Thank you,
James

Hi James,

After make a discussion with developers regarding your inquiries above just now. These is what they have concluded:
1. This is still an issue, I would like the Mobile Template on ALL pages but yes, in my Joomlart Template all of the elements in the body of the template are gone.
-> Actually, when you enable the plugin (system-easysocial mobile) to be rendered in all pages it actually be using the template (es-mobile) https://www.screencast.com/t/9NliptYc and not from JA template (for example) anymore. So that it is not possible to render JA template when enable the plugin.

2. This is resolved, but oddly this was already enabled. I saved the plugin again and the changes took effect. Now my Main Menu is rendered in the top left of the app. I would like to say that this would be better as an off-canvas menu. The block layout is a bit much, especially for folks who are going to have a lot of menu items and sub menu items.
-> I've logged this to our issue tracker (feature request) and our designer will take an action for this

3. Thank you for having this pushed through. I realize there is no immediate fix but it will be nice. This corelates to the first issue above. In my dev site where I am doing the testing I am using a Joomlart T3 Template but I am using QUIX to build my pages. This includes QUIX Elements and Joomla Modules and neither display.
-> Regarding this inquiry, our developers was concluded that, they was intended to make modules not to be displayed in the mobile web template as one of their concern is to make the template not heavy (do not take a lots of mobile data used to load the page) and simplify as much as it can (so in one page it will not bloated with lots of modules)

1. This makes it difficult to use the template when we obviously need to provide some information to our users about what we do and maintain a consistent appearance on our website. It would be nice to support our default joomla template or assigned joomla template on the appropriate pages. However I am going to play with the template again and possibly do as suggested and have it render on only the EaySocial pages.

Thanks,
James
