Hello ikaelis,

Unfortunately you can't add menus there and we really don't intend to use it as a "menu". It's sole purpose is to display the notifications at the top If you really need to customize this, you can always edit the theme files located in /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/toolbar/

Hello,

There are module positions on the sidebar. You can just position your module to "es-dashboard-sidebar-top" and the module will appear on the top. If you want to remove those applications from the sidebar, you will need to customize the theme files in /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard/default.php
