Hi

I have the EasySocial menu in a sidebar (the one in the image). I have EasyBlog also and the 'new post' and 'my posts' show in this menu which is great.

However, I have different user groups and only some of those groups have the permission to create posts. Could you tell me how to hide those menu items if the user doesn't have permission to post and instead add a link to the blog section as they do have permission to view?

Thanks
Hey Michelle,

Thanks for the heads up on this! This will be fixed in the next release of EasySocial

Sorry Mark, are you saying I can't change this currently? If so when is the next release please? Currently if a user doesn't have permissions they are redirected to an ugly error page and I don't want that.

Thanks

Hi Michelle,

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you to apply quick fix for your site?

Thanks Mark that seems to work great, is it based on EasyBlog ACL?

Thanks Mark

One little problem, the notification popup don't seem to be responsive and are creating a horizontal scrollbar on my pages?

Hey Michelle,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. If you have a different issue, kindly please start a new thread on our forums please. This is because we have several different moderators working on the forums and if they are going to have to read the entire thread above just to find out that you have a different issue at the bottom, it would be pretty annoying
