This is a presales question. I noticed the demo supported a matchmaker. Is it currently possible to match users based on profile fields created by the admin. Rather than just gender and location alone?
Hello Draven,

I am not really sure if I understand you about "match users based on profile fields" but this is actually already possible with the advanced search page as you can see here, http://easysocial.stackideas.com/search/advanced . Is this what you are looking for?

I'd be very interested in this too. From what I could see it's not currently possible... but EasySocial is so awesome it might be in there somewhere... so will await the experts response to this

Hello Mark,

I suspect what Draven is asking might be similar to what I am looking for.

1) Imagine I have a drop down field with choices - Student, Teacher and Parent.
2) When a user registers. they can select either Student, Teacher or Parent
3) Imagine we have 20 users selected "Student"', 10 selected "Teacher" and 15 selected "Parent".
4) One should be able to match make for example the 20 students together, in other words, the students have the ame interest and therefore we should match make them.

Hope this makes clear sense.

Thank you.

Hello Moses,

Thanks for the heads up on this but in the users listing, there's actually already a filter which allows you to filter users by profile type. Am I missing anything here?
