Hi -

I have successfully customized the logo in EasySocial notification emails by uploading my own logo into the specified folder within my template.

However, when our email notifications are viewed on a cell phone, the user sees the subject line of the email, but the whole 'preview' is taken up with the file path for the logo, complete with the name of our template (which should never be visible to the user). Is there a way to change this? Ideally, html code would be stripped from the preview.

Thanks,
Cheryl
Not sure if I understand you here Cheryl. Would you mind posting some screen shots of this please?

I have encountered similar issue as mentioned above. Attached is a screenshot from my phone. The top email was sent to a work email address. The 2nd email on the list was a personal email to an icloud account.

Hello Jonathan,

Ah okay I see the problem now and I think it is mainly because we place the logo at the top and these e-mail clients doesn't know that it is a logo. I believe we have found a work around for this in EasyBlog and we'll apply the same fixes on EasySocial.

Hi Jonathan,
Can I know which email services you are using for the first and second email?

Hello Jonathan,

Can you download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/emails/ and let me know if the problem still persists?
