I've been working on a new home page and I've been playing with different modules. To my pleasant surprise, I had a register pop-up after I installed mod_easysocial_login.

That's all fine and dandy, but I've been digging around and I can't find out where (or if) the verbiage or wording can be changed for my particular site's needs.

Is there a location on the EasySocial admin section where the wording can be changed?
No, that's quite alright. I'm happy with using the module you showed me.
There's no problem here. I'm just experimenting with different modules. The module you showed me will work quite fine. Thanks for your help.

Hey Mark,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I believe you shown me that screenshot login pop up is coming from this EasySocial Registration Requester module right?

If yes, you can actually change the description word from the module settings itself.

And the rest of the word, you can override these following language string from your backend > extension > language > override section

COM_EASYSOCIAL_REGISTRATION_JOIN_US="Join Us Today"
MOD_EASYSOCIAL_REGISTRATION_REQUESTER_REGISTER_NOW_BUTTON="Register Now"
MOD_EASYSOCIAL_REGISTRATION_REQUESTER_ALREADY_SIGNED_UP="Already signed up?"
MOD_EASYSOCIAL_REGISTRATION_REQUESTER_LOGIN_TO_YOUR_ACCOUNT="Login to your account"

Hope this help.

Thanks for the response. What I'd like to change is the area highlighted in the attached image.

You can change the language string from the module setting or this language file -> JoomlaFolder\language\en-GB\en-GB.mod_easysocial_registration_requester.ini

MOD_EASYSOCIAL_REGISTRATION_REQUESTER_HEADING_DESCRIPTION_DEFAULT
MOD_EASYSOCIAL_REGISTRATION_REQUESTER_HEADING_TITLE_DEFAULT

I didn't practice with the exact module you showed me. The pop-up came up quite unexpectedly, But I like it. One of the two modules I've circled is most likely the one that caused it. I tried unpublishing each of my practice modules just to find out exactly which one "did" have it. I'm pretty sure it was "mod_easysocial_login" because when you click it you're taken to the EasySocial new member page.

I tried the module you showed me. It works in the same way as the one encountered before, but I can see where the test text comes in quite nicely. I'll just use this module instead of the one I previously installed.

Thanks for your help!!

Perhaps you can provide us with your following detail so I can test on this?
#1. Joomla backend access
#2. FTP access
#3. which page URL showing this pop up

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies
