The easysocial login page does not collect the new user email. If you have User Registration Type set to "require user activation" this sends the new user an email to verify registration, however no email can be sent since the form does not collect a new user email. If you have Send registration email to admin set to "yes" then the administrator receives an email indicating the first and last name of the new user registering and it shows the email field as blank.

See my stored site access information for details.

Please provide an update so this important new user and administration function works properly.
Hi there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

Since you have not set email field to appear in mini registration form, the email will not get collected and the whole registration process is will not work properly. I've set the email field to be appear on your mini registration form as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/F0UVnMDqGl so it will work correctly now.

It appears, I did not understand the webpage (registration form) in question was the mini registration so I was attempting to change the wrong EasySocial feature.

Thank you for your support assistance.

Ezurl,

Where did you make the change in the back-end to add the email address in the mini-registration. I need to also add the user selected password. I checked all modules and plug-ins and can't find the location these items are set.

My site went live last night....! Thank you for all your help the past few months. You have a great ability to concisely and clearly answer questions. I'm sure this can be a difficult task. See my saved site details in this message and posted in my account details for access.

Best regards,

Todd

Ezurl,

I found the answer to my question. I located the mini registration fields to include in "Profile Type>Select my profile type to edit>Custom Fields tab>Select a field>edit field>select view tab in edit mode> Select Appear in Mini-Registration.

Hope this answer helps other users.
