Greetings,

You guys had looked at this once before and I assumed it was corrected; but the Client brought this to my attention yesterday.

1. On the Dashboard, the Members Worldwide flashes the map then gives this: http://prntscr.com/ck6gtg
2. When a User registers, or when creating an event or anywhere in EasySocial that a "Location" is needed, you get this: http://prntscr.com/ck6hmv. The Detect my location does not work and yes I have use my location enabled, and if you key an address, the progress meter just runs forever and nothing happens.
3. Location Services is setup: http://prntscr.com/ck6jcs and also in EasyBlog: http://prntscr.com/ck6jud

I have two other issues; but, will create a new ticket for each.

Thanks,
Bill
Hi Bill,
While trying to access your backend to troubleshoot the issue, it redirects me to your frontpage.
Here's our current office IP that you can whitelist: 219.92.240.21
Let us know once we can access your backend, thanks.

Hey Bill,

It seems like I was unable to access your Joomla backend page, this is my current IP address, can you add my IP address into your server white list?

Hi Bill,
It seems the key you have does not seem to work. So I insert my own API key into your settings.
I also modified these three files for EasySocial:
JoomlaFolder/media/foundry/4.0/scripts/gmaps.js
JoomlaFolder/media/foundry/4.0/libraries/closure.php
JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/scripts/site/locations/popbox.js

As for EasyBlog, changing the API key was enough to get it to work.
Can you test the location services in EasyBlog and EasySocial and see if they are working properly now? Let us know how it goes, thanks.

Greetings Raymond,

No Joy... I keyed my home address, it just scans: http://prntscr.com/ckzlel

Dashboard is the same: http://prntscr.com/ckzlzi

Incidentally, you guys - Stackideas, created the first API. I had my own and the last Technician who was working on this same issue a few months back said it was bad and he created the one that was there before you put yours in. Go back through my tickets and I'm sure you'll find my original one on this issue.

Hey Bill,
Can you provide us the url to the page where Members Worldwide is? Same thing with the event page. FYI, we fixed the issue on your .org site. I have also tested the address you used in the screenshot and it was able to scan properly(http://take.ms/YzbvR).

Raymond:

Event creation page: http://couplesmetrodallas.org/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=events&layout=form&category_id=6

Members worldwide: http://couplesmetrodallas.org/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial

Yup that is the right location for that address. How strange it works for you and not me or the Client.

Hey Bill,
Here is a quick video when I load your backend page. You can see the map loads correctly. I have tried this on Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and they are working fine.

Perhaps you can test on different browsers with latest versions and see if the map works. Clear your browser and site cache too.
You can also open the browser console and see what error messages is being displayed when you load the page.
