HI.

You make a great job, thats not the question, but i hope you don't take amiss..

If i compare global loading speed of Easysocial with other joomla social network components, especially for mobile phones, your component is one of the slower one.
Much time is required to generating the "sidebar" in this dropdown button and also for generating 1 column for mobile phones.
Even with good speed servers, the template isnt loading without "seeing" first the 2 columns (sidebar and streamarea) a few time.

I think if other developers could solve speed problems, than your developers anyway. Your Developers are fast and crafty. :-)

I think there are much possibilities for speeding up Easysocial in future
Thanks for the heads up on this Marco. It's actually not a "speed" issue but more of a "illusion" because the toolbar needs to wait for the document to render and since we are using javascript to determine if the toolbar should be resized, this is probably causing it to "seem" to take a longer time than usual. I will pass this to our designers and see if we could utilize the media css query

Ok i understand but it "looks" like its too slow.

Can you tell me, is there any way if i would redesign a new theme to "import" wireframe files, so that only my own customizations override this template in a new theme?

advantage here is, that if users will update his Easysocial version, the wireframe and frosty template could have solved bugs and i only want a possibility that my theme is (more or less) update stable..

Hello Marco,

If you only want to make changes without worrying of upgrades, add your changes in your template's css file. This way, you don't have to worry about upgrades
