EasySocial Integration with EasyDiscuss?

Is EasySocial integrated with EasyDiscuss? I installed and published the ED app for ES, but there does not appear to be any integration happening when I look at the ED. Am I doing something wrong? Are there instructions somewhere?

If the integration has not happened, is there a target date when this might occur?

Hello William,

By default, whenever you created a discussion in Easydiscuss, it will automatically posted in your Easysocial Stream. http://screencast.com/t/M96VRHjKuIP . The settings for that is located here: http://screencast.com/t/PtPE41OPha4f (Backend>Easydiscuss>Settings>Integration>Easysocial). If it is not working, you can provide us your backend and FTP so we can have a better look on your issue here.

Hello Nick --

I was wondering if the system worked the other way. In other words, when I initiate a discussion/conversation in ES, then that information is posted on EasyDiscuss. I am familiar with Community Builder/Kunena integration. I was wondering if (or when?) the same capability would be available on ES.

Ah unfortunately that is not possible currently It's only from EasyDiscuss back to EasySocial right now

OK. Is it a roadmap item for ES to completely integrate all of the StackIdeas products into a unified platform?

Yes, it's definitely in our roadmap You should see more interesting integrations between EasyBlog and EasySocial in EasyBlog 4.0

Excellent. When? I reviewed the roadmap, but did not see any mention of it. Perhaps I missed it. I am especially interested in the full ES/ED integration since that is most useful for a community website (in my opinion)

Hi Guys,

Any further thoughts on the integration of EasySocial and EasyDiscuss. I too have been trying to accomplish this for ages and have been working on a plugin to sync EasySocial and Joomla groups expressly for this purpose but unfortunately it's not going very well. So I, for one, would certainly welcome integration between the two.
