I keep getting held up on step 5 of the installation- synchronizing the database. Any advice?
Hello Maurice,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Is this an upgrade or a fresh installation? Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello Maurice,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I tried to access the back end but I don't seem to see the "Extensions Manager". Am I missing anything here? This is what I am seeing, http://screencast.com/t/LDKvAzUhUp

Hello Maurice,

Hm, for some odd reasons those SQL queries aren't getting executed on the site during installation. I have manually created them and it should work fine now

Thanks a million!

Also,
I am having trouble with my registration. I keep getting the following error message when I attempt to step through the registration:

"Sorry, but there are some errors in your registration form."

I have added the url to my registration page. Thanks.

Hi Maurice,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your photos migration issue, I've checked your site and it seems like the photos migration encountered script timeout issue.

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/image/adapters/asido/class.driver.gd.php on line 220

Can you try increase below setting from your php.ini to higher value, say 120 seconds?

max_execution_time
max_input_time

Also, I noticed most of your photos in JomSocial is very large. I would advise you to increase the below setting from php.ini to higher value as well.

memory_limit

Let me know if increase these setting helps or not.
Please advise.
Sam

One more thing. I'll post here because it has my FTP and site info:

Whenever i click on a photo in the stream, it directs me to my old jomsocial albums page. Any advice?

Hello Maurice,

It's most likely that you have the same menu alias lurking around the site. You need to delete one of the "menus" that's most likely in "JomSocial Toolbar" and that should fix things up

Hello Maurice,

Can you please provide us with the access to Hostgator? Have you contacted hostgator about "wget" or "lynx" already?

I fixed it. Thanks.

The stream keeps showing when a user registers even though I have it turned off in the backend. Any thoughts?
