About your issue hitting MD5 hash error, it most probably because of the EasySocial installer file doesn't get downloaded completely or the downloaded file is corrupted. By the way, about the blank page after login, can you try change the error reporting in the configuration.php file into maximum. To do this, search for "public $error_reporting = 'default';" and change it to maximum so that we can see the error displayed and helps you fix this issue.

I have downloaded the same installer many times without success. I then manually uploaded the full com_easysocial 13.9 MB file to the /tmp folder and got the same install error.

Please help! I gave all my login details in the original post. (You can ignore the blank page issues. They are fixed.)

By the way, is there an easy way to find all the threads that I am subscribed to in this forum? I looked but could not find this function.
