Hi,

I have a Groups and Pages setup. I need them to allow anyone to see their content (direct in the community or through the ES Stream module). However, I only want to allow their admins/owners to post content in them! Currently, anyone in the community can post to these Pages/Groups even if they are not the owner/admin ?

I've tried setting the Page and the Group to Public with moderation; no difference. If I push that up to Private then their content is not visible by the general public anymore.

I've also tried to fiddle around with the Page and Group category ACL settings which offer parameters for Discussions (on/off) and again, nothing changes ... If a Page or Group is set to Public (or Public with moderation), users are free to join/like and post away no matter what I set things to ?

Groups and Pages need a way for their content to be seen by all but not edited by anyone else than their respective owners or admins. This has been a pain point for a long time now with ES. Has no one else required this before ? Is is just me that doesn't get how to setup the Page/Groups ?

Please help resolve this
Danny
Hey Danny,

Do you mean you would like to limit only group/page admin and owner can able to submit story post?

If yes, you have to add this 'stream permission' custom field from your group/page workflow, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Once you added this field, those group/page owner can able to set allow who can able to submit story post in the group/page.

Mean those group member and page follower do not have permission to submit story post.
