Have you tried this in the Page's event (not just a Page or Just an Event but a Page's event) ?

Perhaps, can you provide us with the user Danny Malouin access for further checking.

You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

I would prefer not to give out that user account's credentials.

What I can tell you is
1- Danny Malouin is in the MANAGER user profile type
2- Danny Malouin is a Facebook synched login (I use FB to login)
3- Danny Malouin is the page and event owner

Can you compare this with the user you used?

I created new user and assigned him to the page and the event
I tested the user as a registered user and as an SU
Again, in both cases, I cannot upload MOV vids
Works fine for MP4s

Somehow, I still cannot reproduce the issue even though using the user given above (refer this video: https://take.ms/T46Fb )
Did I replicate this issue the same as yours?

Can you do more MOV tests in the page/event with new/different users and on different machines?
I can't even post MP4s now ...

I just tried to to upload an MP4 on the Page and in the Page / Event timelines using the Super Admin user. Still not able too. Now I get Please upload a valid video file.

I also tested my Private Browser and still can't upload ANY videos
This one gives me
COM_EASYSOCIAL_VIDEOS_NOT_ALLOWED_CREATE_VIDEO

Hi Danny,

Regarding your latest error, it is actually because the user have exceed the limit upload video.
And for this issue (limit video) actually a known issue where it has been logged into our issue tracker.
For now, can you set the limit video upload to unlimited and see how it goes? https://take.ms/KR3OB

I did what you asked (for Managers, Players and Parents user types)
All still cannot upload MOV files (i think the can't even upload any video files now ...)
Can you continue your investigation on this as our user base is getting frustrated with this :-(
