1) When looking at the list of Apps on Dashboard and in Events they all have icons, but in Groups they have no icons... This causes confusion to our users. Should it not be consistent throughout the system?

->Can you download the file attachment (see attachment) and replace it to the folder :
/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/groups/item.php and see how it goes?

2) When on a Group Event page e.g. https://www.opgroeigids.nl/community/evenementen/item/64-toets-event
Is it possible to have a link or button which is clear to go back to the Group page?

->Unfortunately this is not possible currently. User can access back the group by click the group's name at the top of the event eg: http://screencast.com/t/96EdN9TI .By the way, if this a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote

3) App Announcements is not visible under Apps in Events but it is in Groups, although it has a menu item to 'create new announcement' under manage event dropdown.

->For your information, this is not a bug. For event, the announcement is called news and there is some translation issue where on the button is suppose to show " Create News".It will be fixed in the incoming version

4) Is there a way in which we could display an ES Calendar specific to a Group in the Group Page? We would like it to show the specific group's events on the calendar

-> Unfortunately there is no setting to display ES calendar to a specific group in the group page. However you can submit a voice so we can implement this feature to the next version . You can submit voice HERE

I do think that it would be better as you have it in Conversations, Tasks, etc.. They all have a 'back to....' link... You and I know to click the title, but for users it is not clear and actually seems to be quite confusing to them....

We already decide we will use `News` instead of `Announcements` term for group.
In other word, we will change this `Announcement` term to use `news` in the group in next future version.

Yes, we will removed these icon in next release version. Actually that was our fault in the pass, by right the event page also need to removed these icon.

If you really want to get back these app icon from the group/event page, you have to override these following file into your current template override file. (I already attached these file which contain the group/event app icon fix file in the following)
JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\groups\item.php
JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\events\item.php

The correct file location is JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\events\item.php , you can add a permalink button in this file.

Why are you guys removing the Icons? Icons are good as users seem to respond better to the Apps with Icons than without. It seems that the users find it more user-friendly and inviting to use when they have icons, otherwise it just looks like a list of titles which we found were confusing the users quite a bit...

just some feedback based on our user tests.....

an idea would be to make the icon design a bit nicer and more modern to better fit into ES design and layout, this also goes for the app icons in the cover image... but I would not recommend that you completely get rid of them. Maybe have a switch in the settings to say icons on or off, etc...

Thanks for your input. if I recall correctly previously we added a lot of icons in Easysocial, then causing the performance issue, so this is one of the reason we want to get rid of some icons from Easysocial.

Why have you revoked our licenses, we have done 1000's of lines of those translations and we are continually updating them as much we can... as well as moderating it... why do you act this way Mark? This is not fair, we have worked many hours in doing those lines for all your packages, and we still actively keep them updated...

Do you at least value anything that we have done for you? All the tests and diagnostics we have done with your team? And all the time we put into your products to assist you and your team to provide excellent products to the community?

Sorry, but this cannot go on and we can't be spending all our time just to support your questions. We practically can't get anything done at all.

As for the translations, you can still contribute it if you want to but we will not be providing complimentary license for it. You can still contribute it at your own will.
