EASYSOCIAL (feature): ES page categories module improvements

As a user (site admin), I would like to use the Page category module to render a directory by category. In order to do this properly, I would need the module to offer basic filtering options.

I suggest a similar set of options like the Joomla menu module


  • Base category
  • Start level / End level
  • Show Sub Categories

Hi team,

I would like to add to this feature request

As hinted in the aforementioned posts; we use the EasySocial Page module to render a business directory in our portals. Currently, the out-of-the-box module doesn't offer enough options for us to render such a business directory. We're looking into what it would take to add the following to the module

1- Frontend page search
2- Frontend page filtering
3- Frontend page sorting

This way, visitors could search, filter and sort through the directory

Is this something ES plans on looking into any time soon ?
