I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. The fix for this is pretty simple, just edit the language file /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini and locate the codes below,

APP_USER_BROADCASTS_STREAM_TITLE_POSTED_NEW_ANNOUNCEMENT_TITLE="%1$s posted a new announcement, %2$s"

Replace it with,

APP_USER_BROADCASTS_STREAM_TITLE_POSTED_NEW_ANNOUNCEMENT_TITLE="%1$s posted a new announcement"

works, BUT dont forget to tell your translators that they should update this line in the translations. Example, in german ini it was still 1%s and 2%s. What means, that i had to change it there too..

Tell your translators to remove the "2%s" from this line in any other specific language file..
