When EasyBlog Authors write and publish an article, the way EasySocial posts the update on the Activity Stream seems somewhat limited in its control, right now...

1. How do I control the amount of CONTENT (number of words, and / or number of characters) FROM EASYBLOG to pull IN to the EasySOCIAL Activity Stream? Right now, all text content from Introtext is pulled, but that's often WAY TOO MUCH CONTENT for browsing in an Activity Stream. Please let me know if there is a way for me to change this, for both the Component and the Activity Stream Module.

2. Is EasySocial supposed to display an image from EasyBlog article content? Right now, It pulls photos from non-EasyBlog urls, when I submit a link (to another blog, news link, etc), but not EasyBlog articles which it draws from settings, toggled from within EasyBlog. Or am I not understanding how to do it properly?

I included a screencapture:

Hm, currently this isn't configurable but we have added this functionality / settings in the new version of EasyBlog.

It currently only selects the blog image and place them in the stream preview. If you are embedding images in the blog post, it doesn't take that image because we need to format the stream preview so that it looks more organized.

Thank you, Mark, that's good to know. I'll just adjust the amount of content for now in the intro text, and start using "Blog Images" as a practice. Appreciate the fast response again - wow.

Hello

I would like to know when is this feature will be added?

For now I can see, intro text or full text, but I configure easyblog to only use the first 250 caracteres for intro text so user don't have to remember or learn how to add the read more separator.

Thanks

Hello,

If you are using the latest blog app for EasySocial, you can already configure this in the application itself Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/fzz0XzxT1XN
