Hi, I need help with the configuration of the EasySocial Dashboard page (for version 1.2).

I want the dashboard page to just display the Login and Quick registration form. But, for some reason, on my install, below the quick reg form, it is pulling in the latest activity from the community. I would like that to NOT be there.

Please let me know how I can disable that on this dashboard page. Again, I want this dashboard page just to display the login form and the quick register form. Look forward to hearing how I can accomplish this.

Thanks,
Colt
Yep that is right. Unity has been removed in 1.1.x because there were too many layouts and it confuses the users. We have now reduced it back to just dashboard and profile

I think the best way would be to create an Easysocial "Login" menu item and configure the access level to "guest" user only. Then create a normal "dashboard" menu item with access level for "register" users only.

Hope this help.

Yep, that's correct. It's best to link to the menu item this way

Thanks, I will give this a try.

I know how to configure a menu item for a registered user only, but how do I create a menu item for only a guest user? Is it possible to turn that menu item off once the user logs in?

Please let me know how I would set this up.

Thanks,
Colt

Nevermind, I just figured it out. When I set the menu item to Login Layout, if the user is logged in, it treats that menu like the dashboard. With version 1.1.6, I think this function was called Utility (or Unity), but that function has gone away with version 1.2.

So, looks like I won't need Dashboard and can just use this Login Layout menu item. Does that sound about right?

Thanks,
Colt
