Hi there,

I seem to be having a problem creating events in EasySocial.
Whenever i try to create events, I get the following error:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=DELETE `a`, `b`, `c`, `d` FROM `kk31_social_clusters` AS `a` LEFT JOIN `kk31_social_clusters_nodes` AS `b` ON `a`.`id` = `b`.`cluster_id` LEFT JOIN `kk31_social_clusters_news` AS `c` ON `a`.`id` = `c`.`cluster_id` LEFT JOIN `kk31_social_events_meta` AS `d` ON `a`.`id` = `d`.`cluster_id` WHERE `a`.`parent_id` =

Marc
Hello Marc,

Seems like there is an issue with the social_cluster table. I've fixed it for you in the test site database as well as the live site database. Please verify this.

Hello Marc,

I need to troubleshoot the issue by creating events on your site. You may want to put your site to offline mode.

You can use the test site.
Details are exactly the same except that the URL is http://www.sexydate.co.za

I'm getting a bit concerned with this issue......our website is primarily based on providing events and related information and if we can't publish any events, we can't provide service to our members.

Hey Marc,

The site is extremely slow for me now even when accessing the back end I am not too sure if it's my ISP that is acting up or is it your hosting. Is it slow for you? Even the Joomla admin login page took about 6 minutes to load.

Anyway how were you able to reproduce this issue? I tried to create an event but all I see is a red notification and there are no errors that you have mentioned above.

Also, is it possible to provide the ftp access. It's safer for us to modify files via FTP rather than using a php file manager.

Hi again,

There shouldn't be any access problems.....my time is about 11 seconds to load the admin page using a 4 mbps connection from ZA to the Netherlands.

I got that error message when trying to create events from the back end.

On the front end the event page just loops and presents the red error block with no message
When I try to access the created event directly from the site, it gives a 404 error.
Looking at the database table, the event entry has a zero ID (as per the attached)

We don't use FTP at all on our websites.

Hello Marc,

I've found out that the saving part failed because there is no ID get updated to the table even though the table has been stored without an error and this issue is not happening in my local. Can you provide us the access to your phpmyadmin?
