Hi there, have the problem does not appear that the cover and avatar pictures. with wamp system still had all work, no longer on the server
hey patrick,
can you give us some more details on your cover and avatar problem? are photos missing on some special profiles only or are no pics showing up at all?
also please provide us with your backend and ftp access (you can put them into the "site details" tab) so that we can investigate this directly at your site.

I'm finding the same problem happening only with users on Mac machines
They can upload image fine and it appears in the preview window both avatar and cover but when they click submit they see a red error bar with no message.

Please see screen-shot below;)

Hello Marcus,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Can you provide us with backend access and ftp access to your site? We need this access so that we can try replicate this issue and debug it on your site. And also, can you turn on the error reporting on your site and see if there is any error reported. To turn on this, you need to access: Joomla > Site > Global Configuration > Server > Error reporting = Maximum.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

hey patrik,
to tell a reason why this is happening at your end is quite difficult as without seeing it "live" and debugging the code.
therefore as in my first reply yesterday please provide us with access to your site so that we can check this out and help you fixing it

@marcus
as your problem is different than the one patrik is facing please open a new post (also with site details) so that this one here is not getting confusing when dealing with 2 different things in one topic. thanks.
