Hello I'm trying to use your K2 article plugin and it doesn't seem to be working. Am I missing something after I enable the plugin after installation?

Thanks!
Hello Steve,

Have you tried to install the the apps by going to your easysocial frontend > profile > apps?

If the problem still persist perhaps you can provide us joomla backend and FTP access so we can quickly check on this issue?

Please advise.

Hello,

When I try to do it that way it says:
Manifest file is not a valid EasySocial application

I am attaching my site info.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Steven,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like you have disabled the K2 plugins from your backend and also you did not the install the K2 app within the EasySocial.

I've help you to enable the K2 plugins and K2 app installation and perform a test post using K2 extension and the stream is generated correctly inside the easysocial stream.

Hope this will resolve your issue

Thanks so much! I appreciate the help!! Last questions, is there a way to display the easy social data for the author data on the k2 articles? Such as on
https://wikiprogramming.org/index.php/java/item/7-java-lesson-2-basic-syntax
have it display like the author info for the administrator on the homepage?

Thanks again!
Steve

Hi Steven,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I'm not sure which one are you referring to? Perhaps you can provide us with any screenshot of your inquiry so that we can understand you better.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Hello!

No worries on the delay! What was I saying is - On the k2 articles such as on http://wikiprogramming.org/index.php/java/item/7-java-lesson-2-basic-syntax the k2 profile is displayed at the bottom instead of the easysocial profile. Is it possible to have the easysocial profile display instead of the k2 profile like it does on the homepage (http://wikiprogramming.org/)?

Here's a screenshot - http://stackideas.com///images/apps/57/0e6cc15c766063fba2a650e679348af8

Thanks!

Ok I think I got it, I realized it only does this when I read Joomla articles vs K2 items, so I changed my articles over to items and it's no longer posting!!

Hopefully this stuff helps someone else someday!

Cheers
