EasySocial and german language problem

hi StackIdeas,

I have problem when switching language to German. When switching Joomla (Frontend & Backend) language to German I see that EasySocial switches back to English instead of German. When I switch Joomla to other language like Polish - it is ok - both Joomla and EasySocial are in polish. So the problem appears only for German in EasySocial.

I have checked all languages are correctly installed - both in Joomla and EasySocial I see German and Polish installed correctly.

What could be the reason of missing German in EasySocial?

Or maybe, you can provide us with steps-by-steps to replicate this, or some link where this issues persist. Please advice.

hi Abdul,

you saw my Website in German because of the Website-Google-Translator module which was active and translating on the fly to German.

I have deactivated this module. Go again please to any easy-social subpage to see the content is still in English:

Hi there,

Sorry for confusion above. It seems that i cant replicate this on our local and we suspected that something is wrong with your German language files as there might got some missing "quote" on your translation.

Can you provide us with your FTP for us to further check on this issues? Please advice

Hi there,

It seems that there are no 'de-DE.com_easysocial.ini' language file on your German language. I have temporarily copied existing language file to yout German language folder and it works fine now.

By the way, are you considering to use this http://www.kochen-mit-spass.de as you main domain? I would advice you to assign this domain at your dashboard as this issues related to your API key. You have to assign your domain as this language is associated with your product API key. Thanks for your understanding.

Yes it is. It will check your API key one you have access your language site on your backend.

You cant change them once you have registered them at your dashboard as we have disallowed changing domain names after tons of abuse on our support. We have to change it for you. If you required us to change others component into http://www.kochen-mit-spass.de also, let us know

another problem: when I change the Joomla backend language to German the EasyDiscuss component disappears from the administration menu completely

Hi there,

it seems that your 'EasyDiscuss' title string "COM_EASYDISCUSS" have changed into 'Dashboard' in this file .../administrator/language/en-DE/en-DE.com_easydiscuss.sys.ini. By the way, i have changed this language string for you to 'EasyDiscuss', Please give it a check and see how it goes
